Ape Celebrates One Year On WordPress

Happy Birthday to you

Happy Birthday to you,

You blog like a monkey

And you spell like one too

A year of WordPress blogging has helped me mature in ways so subtle that to the untrained eye it would appear that I have not matured at all.

To celebrate here is a bonus mini-post to mark this milestone achieved by only a few other million WordPress bloggers. Keep an eye out for the subtle improvement in maturity.

About Ape No. 1

This famous lowland gorilla was born on July 4, 1971, in San Francisco. He was a gorilla who mastered over 2,000 words in American Blog Language, allowing him to communicate with humans in an astounding way. Some people felt that he was simply making blogs without understanding their real meanings, in order to receive treats and rewards from his readers.

Congratulations and many thanks for a year of humorous and enlightening posts but just one thing… please don’t get all mature on us!

    • Ape No. 1 says:

I used the word mature in this post to appear more sophisticated and James Bondly. Not sure exactly what it means though and I have no real inclination or desire to look up it’s meaning either.
